About Catherine Street Medical
Catherine Street Medical is a long established GP practice in the heart of Waterford City, opposite the Courthouse and around the corner from Waterford.
We believe our strength is in offering a continuous, personalised medical service in a reliable, friendly, caring environment.
A wide variety of medical services are available to medical card and private patients.
As part of a Primary Care Team we have access to free Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Dietician Services for eligible patients.
In addition ,We have years of experience in Occupational Medicine providing support to a number of local businesses.
We have extensive experience also and additional professional training in the area of Medical Expert report writing for legal firms.
As a GP Training Practice we mentor and facilitate the training of Doctors specialising in General Practice.
Our aim is to provide high quality, evidence based, patient centred care. We want to engage and empower you to achieve the very best health outcomes for you.

New Patients
We are currently taking on a limited number of new patients.
Due to ever increasing demand, our medical card and private patient lists are reviewed regularly to determine if there is availability.
Once you submit your application, a member of our administrative team will contact you by email to advise you on the next steps, including expected timeframes and any further information required.
